Sexual Assault

This feature was created by Melissa, a former YouthResource intern

Sexual assault is a serious concern among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth. This feature discusses the issues surrounding sexual assault.

The articles section discusses topics such as helping a friend who has been sexually assaulted, information on terminology, and a quiz about your knowledge on the issues. There are also articles about male/male sexual violence as well as working to end sexual violence.

Our stories section includes a personal piece from a trans survivor, One Kid's Story. It also includes poetry and other creative writings. Check out these powerful pieces.

If you need resources and information, or have been sexually assaulted and you are looking for help, look below for resources. If you're looking for information about dating violence, or building a healthy relationship, you can check info out in these previous features.
